Dr. Arnold grew up in California and had 2 children (who have now produced two terrific grandchildren), before attending U.C.S.D. in La Jolla, and then coming to this area to go to George Washington University Medical School.

She has remarried and has 2 girls - Lindsay and Molly - and a wonderful husband Reid Adler.

She has a special interest in behavior issues and development. Her outside interests are scrapbooking, quilting and gardening.
