Dr.
Larkin was raised in Florida, but has lived in Alexandria
since 1977. She has been married to her husband, Mike
(retired from the Air Force and working now as an electrical
engineer for Lockheed-Martin), for over thirty years
and they have 3 grown children: Marnie, Katie, and James.
After being a homemaker for eleven years, she attended
George Mason University to finish her B.S. degree, then
went on to George Washington University for her M.D.
Finally, she completed her internship and residency
in Pediatrics at Georgetown University.
Dr. Larkin has a special interest in special-needs
children, foreign adoptees, and asthma. Her outside
interests include her church work, cooking and sewing.
