When you call for a prescription refill for your child, we ask that you call several days in advance for a medication that you child takes daily. Calling in advance allows us to make the child's chart available to your physician, and it allows the physician time to review the child's chart.

Advance notifation is particularly important when requesting refills of medications that are controlled and for which you require a written prescription (such as ritalin, adderall, etc.). These controlled medications will also necessitate that you pick up the prescription at our front desk.

Other medications that may be called in to a pharmacy will also require your child's chart to be reviewed by the physician.
