During a sports physical your child's pediatrician will perform a thorough examination to ensure they aren't at high risk for injury, helping to keep them safe and healthy during sports activities. Many schools require a sports physical after May 1st for the upcoming academic year, and this can be done during your child's regular check-up at The Kidz Docs. If the check-up was before May 1st, you can schedule a separate sports physical appointment, though it will not be covered by insurance.

In collaboration with community-based mental health providers, the pediatricians at The Kidz Docs assess and address children’s behavioral health issues and school-related problems, such as anxiety, depression, and attention difficulties. Children with a behavioral health diagnosis on medication must visit our office every three months, as these regular visits are necessary for us to evaluate your child before any medication refills.
