During a sports physical, your child’s pediatrician will examine their entire body to ensure that there’s no high risk for injury. This can help protect your child during their sport and keep them as healthy as possible.
Most schools will require a sports physical after May 1st for the upcoming academic year. This can be completed at your child's well visit. If your child's well visit occurred prior to May 1st, a separate Sports Physical appointment can be scheduled. A separate Sports Physical appointment is not covered by insurance.
