Dr. Tannous grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and made frequent trips to Northern Virginia to visit family. She completed her undergraduate years at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and received her doctorate in medicine from Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency with Dr. Remus at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and AI DuPont Hospital for Children. She began her career in the Philadelphia suburbs followed by Houston, and is glad to have returned to the east coast. In her free time, she enjoys plein air painting, reading, traveling and spending time with family.
As a pediatrician she enjoys having open dialogue and discussion with parents and families. She believes that decisions should be made together after a thorough discussion. She has extensive experience treating children with ADHD, depression, anxiety and also discussing childhood nutrition and obesity. She speaks some Arabic and Spanish.
Dr. Tannous has been practicing at The Kidz Docs since 2020.
