Dr. Livingood grew up in the mountains of North Carolina but fell in love with the DC metro area after attending Georgetown University for her undergraduate degree. She stayed in DC receiving her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Livingood completed her pediatric training at The Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. She then continued to work at Vanderbilt after residency where she was an assistant professor in the pediatric emergency department.
Dr. Livingood's special interests in medicine include nutrition and obesity. Arlington, VA is now home to Dr. Livingood, her husband, and two children. When she isn’t treating patients, she likes to travel, bake, and enjoy time with family and friends.
Dr. Livingood has been practicing at The Kidz Docs since 2019. She is not currently accepting new patients.
