Dr. Ferrer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and attended medical school at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. In 2017, she completed her Pediatric Residency through Authority Health in Detroit, MI, serving as Chief Resident in her last year.
Dr. Ferrer strongly favors team decision-making, and partners with parents/guardians to determine the plan of care. She is also a strong believer in patient and parent education and always aims to provide valuable resources.
Dr. Ferrer was born in San Diego, CA but now considers Virginia her home. She speaks English and Tagalog. She loves to travel, enjoys spending time with family, and likes scrapbooking. She lives with her husband and two young daughters.
Dr. Ferrer has been practicing at The Kidz Docs since 2019.
