Kathleen Beckman is a native Texan who has lived more than 20 years of her life overseas. After earning her BSN from the University of Texas, she married an Army officer and served military families as a pediatric intensive care nurse/pediatric clinic nurse in military medical centers. Upon returning to the D.C. area, Kathleen trained to become a pediatric nurse practitioner through Catholic University and has worked in private practice ever since.
Ms. Beckman speaks French and Spanish and loves caring for our international families. She has special interests in developmental delays, asthma, newborns, and breastfeeding.
Ms. Beckman loves to read, hike, bike and share travel adventures with her family. She lives in Alexandria with her husband of over 30 years, her golden retriever Salado and kitty Brazos. She has three grown children and three grandchildren.
Kathleen Beckman has been practicing at The Kidz Docs since 2017.
